I'm unsure if it is my place to comment, but there is frankly no reason why you two would have the same IP if you didn't use the same internet connection (i.e The same router). The only reason I could see this being a possibility is if you were ( somehow, it's a hard proccess ) using a program to either <A> Piggy back off of his internet, or <B> For him to piggy back off of yours.
I didn't know you personally on the server so I can't judge your character but, I can say it is heavily unlikely for you not to either be the "Brother/Friend" of Anthony or the same exact person. Either way, as Dragon said, it's a chance many are not willing to take.
